How can we help?

Which common surfaces can Dr Bacti’s products be used on?
Chairs, desks, counter tops, door handles, all high touch surfaces, bathroom surfaces, toilets, sinks, lift buttons, and kitchen surfaces.
What kind of fabrics can be disinfected using FABRIGUARD?
Fabriguard can be used for almost all types of fabrics including acrylics, cotton, nylon, lycra, polyester, polyethylene, rayon, spandex, vinyl, wool, silk, natural down, and blends of these fibres, etc.
How should a surface to be protected be targeted with the product?
 In order to ensure that treatment provides the best results, the surface to be protected should be cleaned for dust before applying the product. Soft surfaces such as carpets and upholstery should be well vacuumed beforehand.
How to clean the surface before using the product?
Surfaces should be thoroughly cleaned and any residue from cleaning agents must be rinsed from the surfaces to be treated. The final rinse should come off without any signs of dirt or foaming from the cleaners. After cleaning, the disinfectant product should be applied.
For how long the surface remains protected?
Because it bonds to the surface, there is long-term protection against re-growth and future contamination on treated surfaces. 
How long does the protection last?
Since the cured antimicrobial is involatile, insoluble, and non leaching, the treatment should last for the life of the treated surface. However, the life of the treated surface depends on a number of factors. If you treat a dirty or unstable surface, when the dirt comes off or the surface is disturbed, the effectiveness of the antimicrobial will decrease. Abrasive or caustic cleaners will also shorten effective life. Our PRO90 have seen effectiveness for the life of the substrate with normal housekeeping.
Are any harmful gases emitted from these products?
No, our products do not volatilize, or leach onto other surfaces or into the environment. Dr Bacti products are biodegradable and eco friendly. Its chemistry polymerizes where it is applied and forms a permanent bond that lasts for the life of the treated surface. Normal cleaning should not remove the treatment, although it can be abraded away if the surface comes into contact with an abrasive compound.
How does these products work mechanically?
The active ingredient in the BactiBarrier Cleaning System is an antimicrobial that forms a colorless, odorless, positively charged polymer, which permanently bonds to the treated surface. It is just like a layer of electrically charged spears. When a microorganism comes in contact with the treated surface, the quaternary amine spear punctures the cell membrane (like a sword) and the electrical charge shocks the cell. Since nothing is transferred to the dead cell, the antimicrobial doesn’t lose strength and the spear is ready for the next cell to contact it. Normal cleaning of treated surfaces is necessary to prevent build up of dirt, dead microbes, etc. which could cover the treatment, prohibiting it from killing microorganisms.
How is the chemical used in Dr Bacti products different from contemporary chemicals?
Our chemical is an organosilane, but part of the molecule is a quaternary amine. Unlike traditional quats, which have a very short effectiveness and a limited kill spectrum, this formula provides long-term protection, and controls a very broad spectrum of microorganisms and it is easy to use.
Why is Dr Bacti’s technology unique?
BactiBarrier technology is unique approach. It provides an effective initial microbial kill when applied, like the conventional methods, but it also provides long-term control of growth on treated surfaces, basically, for the life of that surface. The surface itself is modified to make it antimicrobially active for the normal life of the substrate onto which it is applied.
How many wipes are there in the packet?
There are 10 individually packed wipes in the packet.
Are the products antibacterial or antiviral?
Our products are antimicrobial. Microbe is a wider term used for all bacteria, virus, fungi, moulds etc.
What is the expiry date of the products?
For date of manufacturing and expiry please refer the label.
Are these products safe on skin? Do these sting?
Yes, our products are 100% safe, non-toxic, non-allergen for human use.
Are these products capable of killing the corona virus?
Yes, Dr Bacti products are 99% capable of action against the corona virus.
